Clarice is delighted to continue the tradition of Musikgarten classes in Seattle! Clarice has over ten years experience working with toddlers and teaching voice and piano to students of all ages. With music curriculum ranging from Musikgarten, Kodály, and Suzuki method to learning activities centered around world music, classical music, and classic children’s tunes, her classes offer a wide range of musical fun to explore. Singing, play with instruments, rhythm and tonal games, dancing, and movement are just a little of what you can expect in each class! She has taught students of all ages for over ten years, with repertoire ranging in variety from classical to pop.

Clarice received her Masters of Music in Voice Performance from the Chicago College of Performing Arts and has experience in music therapy centered around autistic children, newborns, and premature babies.  An avid singer of opera and classical music, Clarice can often be found singing in the Seattle area, singing with Seattle Opera, Operamuse, Puget Sound Concert Opera, the Ladies Musical Club, and Opera on Tap just to name a few. Hailing from the Chicago area, Clarice has sung with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (much to her delight at Carnegie Hall), Grant Park Chorus, Chicago Sinfonietta, and Opera on Tap, among many others. She has also performed all over the country and world as both a soloist and choral singer.

Clarice also teaches private voice lessons. Email her at clarice@joyfulmusicseattle.com
